Occupany Sensors
Occupancy sensors reduce energy usage by detecting whether a controlled space is occupied, and shutting the lights off if it is not. These sensors come in a variety of forms and coverage areas, including wall switch replacements, corner-mount and ceiling-mount models, and specialized sensors. Occupancy sensors are best used in environments where occupancy is frequent but unpredictable, such as restrooms, individual offices, conference rooms and break rooms.
Lighting Associates can provide advice regarding the proper use and positioning of occupancy sensors. If you have a floor plan in AutoCAD format, we can even provide a detailed layout of your space.
